The AHE2 can test 2 wire and 4 wire SHDSL and EFM lines. Data rates up to 11400kbps are supported with clear SHDSL Pass / Fail indications. Configuring the SHDSL interface is simplicity itself. IP layer testing is provided with HTTP, Ping and FTP Tests.
The one button auto test keeps the test process consistent and easy. The AHE2 is a powerful and comprehensive G.SHDSL Test solution. The AutoTest feature makes testing simple and keeps training needs to a minimum. Features such as 17cm. colour touchscreen, Web Browser, Histograms for monitoring longer term intermittent faults and industry leading Broadcom chipset ensure that the AHE2 is the right device for you.

The WAN interface must be active and have an IP address assigned to it before any IP layer testing can be performed. System Setup
In the system setup screen the following settings may be adjusted:
The Active Test port: xDSL or Ethernet. System Network information; IP Address, Netmask, Default Gateway and DNS Servers.
Note that it is possible for the default gateway and DNS settings to be overridden by the settings obtained from the WAN interface. Remote Control
The AHE2 has a powerful remote control feature that makes it possible to have AHE2 connected to an xDSL line at a customer premises and then control the device remotely from your office using a remote client that uses the VNC protocol.
