The AFC2 is an essential installation and maintenance instrument by inserting fiber into its adapter head, it can identify SM optical fibers without any damage by detecting the optical signals being transmitted through them so that avoid to opening the fiber at the splice point for identification and interrupting the service. The AFC2 also allows relative core power display and identifies the 270Hz, 1kHz and 2kHz frequency. When they are used to detect the frequency, the continuously audible tone could be heard. There are four types of adapter heads available: Ø0.25, Ø0.9, Ø2.0 and Ø3.0.
